Finish your laundry? Having your laundry done is NOT those piles of clean clothes on the sofa. I am sharing some tips that will help you move your laundry from dirty piles to neatly folded clothes that are put away.
If you know me, you’ll find this hard to believe, but I remember having laundry piled on our bed during the days when I had my first two babies.
Seems like there would have been a better place to dump the laundry because when I would get busy with other things that were needing to be done and forget to finish the laundry, it was there waiting when it was time to crash into bed.
In another house and a few children later, it would be strewn across the sectional sofa in four or five huge neglected piles.
Nothing is more daunting or gives the feeling of impossibility.
I don’t know what your responsibilities are.
You might have several littles, you might have a home-based business or work outside of the home, or blog.
The home I live in now has a laundry room tucked way around in a secret corner of the basement. It is easy to forget and find the laundry that needs to be switched or folded. Once it is folded I act like the 5 step process is done and leave it upstairs in the baskets.
You’d think I’d learn to finish your laundry!!
How about you?
Make the New Habit to Finish Your Laundry
Before you blow me away with sighs, let’s look at what the Bible says.
You have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Matthew 25:21
So, put those towels away! Finish your laundry just as soon as you finish reading what I am sharing.
When you are faithful in a small responsibility like the laundry, you will also learn to finish other projects that you start.
The Lord will bless you with bigger responsibilities because you learned to take care of the material possessions that you had in smaller things.
Finish what you start.
Are you praying for a more adequate car or house?
Learning to finish what you start and caring for what you’ve got will open you up to be blessed in other areas.
Whatever it is, finish what you start.
Maybe you bought a membership at the gym, or an online class and you haven’t been doing it and the money is being wasted.
Take an inventory of your life and see if you have any areas where you have not been a good steward of your time or money.
I had to cancel an online membership that had recurring monthly payments. I had thought that it would be beneficial for me to learn what was offered, but if the truth be known, I did not have the time to add it to my schedule and so I closed my account.
To open up God’s biggest blessings in your life, learn to finish what you start.
I have laundry waiting to be folded downstairs and stacks and stacks of neatly folded laundry. I need to put it ALL away!!
Do you have trouble keeping up with your laundry? What would your suggestions be?
